Excellent

Marshalls Tree Service & Firewood, Inc.

We've used Marshall's Tree Service on several occasions, mostly recently during August 2026. I'm impressed with the caliber of their operations, including their professional and thorough employees, the high end tree removal equipment used, and their prompt scheduling. We scheduled services that included tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, and a forestry mow along the rear of our three lots at Sandhill Estates in lower Northamton County VA. Marshall's did an excellent job, completing the work quickly and according to our specifics. The clean up operation was fantastic, like they were never here. We found the pricing to be fair and competitive, and will contact Marshall's for future needs.

I am Holy and Blameless

Thank you for trimming the tree limbs and being flexible with the pricing. God bless you all. In hind sight I should have just postponed tree trimming until I could afford the original price Mr. Marshall quoted me because he had the tree trimmed for less than what his original price was and if I didn't ask him for a lower price I would still have those branches as a wind breaker. Today I am looking at how am I going to replace a shingle tab that came off probably due to the wind this morning. I noticed it missing earlier today and it just landed on the sidewalk next to the tree a little while ago. 😬😱 So if Mr. Marshall gives you a price, and you can not afford it, just keep it moving and don't try to get a lower price. You can't afford it for a reason. Maybe the tree is a windbreaker for your roof.

Response from the owner:Thank you for the review!

A LAUER

Marshall’s took down two large trees in my backyard. John was quick to get back to me and give me an estimate the same day. Once I made my decision to go with them they were out the next week. The crew was amazing. They had to take down part of my fence in order to get to the trees and they put it back perfectly. Took all the wood and debris and left my yard as it was. Will definitely use them again when needed.

They got our big tree cut in a few hours. Had to reach over a fence and avoid our house. Also cleaned up the area, would definitely recommend

Our experience having Marshall’s Tree Service was great. We had three large pine trees next to our house taken down, ground up, our stumps ground and all were hauled out, and our yard completely cleaned up.

Response from the owner:Thank you for your business!
